The SCoPEd Framework (The Scope of Practice and Education Framework) has been developed by accrediting bodies for counselling and psychotherapy, and is planed to be finalised in 2028. The length, depth, and practical experience that the Level 6 qualification offers, puts students at Peel at an advantage to working their way towards accreditation within this framework. The requirement to learn from your own therapist during training really does give trainees the knowledge and experience required to support clients on their journey.
